Library celebrates Family Fun Night

The annual Holmesburg Library Friends Family Night in the library garden welcomed 250 people on Wednesday, Aug. 10.

Celebrating the conclusion of the library’s Summer Reading Program, the volunteer friends hosted Mr. Malcolm’s story telling, Kyle and Kelly’s Ready Set and Read Magic Show, face-painting by Carol and snappy balloons by Jack, Rita’s water ice and Boy Scout Troop 394.

Summer reading prizes were also awarded to children who participated in the Free Library of Philadelphia’s summer reading program at the Holmesburg branch. ••
